Description

Industrial 3 stage dust collector designed for any carbide and metal grinding, sanding, or polishing operations.  This collector features 3 stages of filtration including an aluminum mesh, MERV 8 pad filter, and MERV 13 pleated filter.  It has a quiet 70 decibel operating noise level.  The system will safely draw live sparks, dust, grit, and some smoke through the dust collector.  The air then passes through a MERV 8 rated filter followed by a MERV 13 rated filter. This dust collector works great with any Thorvie sharpening machine, bench grinder and more.

Industrial dust collector includes: 1 aluminum mesh filter, 1 MERV 8 pad filter, 4″ by 4 foot long crush proof heavy rubber hose, third stage filter shroud, 1 MERV 13 pleated filter.

MERV 8 rated filters will remove particles 3 to 10 micron in size and larger, which includes most dust and grit.

MERV 13 rated filters will remove particles 0.3 to 1 micron in size and larger, which includes fine dust and some smoke.

Dust Collector Hose Clamp

Purchase the dust collector hose clamp in addition to the industrial dust collector system.  The 4 foot Crushproof heavy rubber hose fits tight into the hose clamp.  The hose clamp has a magnetic base with ability to change the angle of the hose.  Adjust the clamp to any location or angle depending on what you are sharpening.  Magnetic base has an on off switch for easy cleaning and changing your clamp location.
